At Collarist we want you and your furry friend to love the product and to be completely happy with your purchase.

If for some reason you do not absolutely love your selections, or if you need to exchange them for a different size or style, please email us at hello@collarist.com within 14 days of receiving your order. We will provide you with instructions for mailing merchandise back.

Condition of goods

To be eligible for a return/exchange, all items must be in new, unused, unaltered condition and accompanied by all original tags. Proof of purchase from collarist.com is required. If upon inspection the items are deemed in unsalable condition or have been used or altered in any way, your refund or exchange credit will be subject to approval.

 How do I send my return back?

Customers pay for shipping back to Collarist. You can choose whichever shipping option you feel comfortable using, however, we strongly encourage you to use an insured and trackable mail service on any items you send back to us as we are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged return shipments. We can’t process a return or exchange if we have not received your items.

I sent my return/exchange back, what happens next? 

  • Once we receive your return, your refund will be processed within 3-5 business days. A confirmation email will be sent to you upon our receipt of the item(s).
  • We will issue the refund back on the original payment method. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Depending on the payment method, it may take 7 to 10 business days for the bank to process the credit to your account.

Custom Items

Collars, leashes and matching bracelets with added studs are considered custom items and due to their customized nature, a 40% restocking fee will apply to all returns/ exchanges. 

Final Sale Items

  • Clearance items are considered final sale and are non-refundable.

 Can I return/exchange an item I bought somewhere else? 

No, please return the item to the original reseller for a refund or exchange. Since we don’t have proof of purchase we are unable to assist you in returning an item that was not purchased on our site. Next time you can buy directly from us!
